Interact in the Viewport

Tools can be used to interact or create nodes in the Viewport.

Tool Settings

Enable Create Editable Primitives to create Editable Shapes. An Editable Shape is a shape that can be edited with the Edit Shape tool.

Shortcuts

When drawing Shapes you can use hotkeys to perform various tasks:

• Hold shift to constrain proportions.

• Hold alt/option to draw the Shape outwards from the start position of you cursor.

• A click in the Viewport with a tool selected will create a Shape centered on your cursor.

You can alternatively alt/option + click a tool icon to create a default Shape.
