# Create menu

**Quick Add..**. - open the [Quick Add](/cavalry/user-interface/menus/window-menu/quick-add-window.md) window.

**Primitives** - create a primitive (ellipse, rectangle, polygon...)

**Background** - add a [Background Shape](/cavalry/nodes/shapes/background-shape.md) to the current Composition.

**Shapes** - select a [Shape](/cavalry/nodes/shapes.md) to add to the current Composition.

**Behaviours** - select a [Behaviour](/cavalry/nodes/behaviours.md) to add to the current Composition.

**Effects** - select an [Effect](/cavalry/nodes/effects.md) to add to the current Composition.

**Utilities** - select a [Utility](/cavalry/nodes/utilities.md) to add to the current Composition.

**Layout** - add the current selection to a [Layout Shape](/cavalry/nodes/shapes/layout-shape.md).

**Presets** - select a Preset to add to the current Composition.
